In light of the political situation in the Middle East, it is natural to feel concern about journeying here, particularly for those who have never visited the Dead Sea and Arad areas before.

To allay any fears, you should know that there has never been any kind of terrorist activity in this area, and it does not occupy any disputed territory. Neither have foreign governments ever issued traveller warnings about visiting this area.

However, as in all of Israel, security forces are not complacent and maintain a constant vigil to forestall any likelihood of trouble. Statistically, and in all probability, you are safer with us here than at home.
