This newly built clinic is based in Arad, a small city only 25km (15 miles) from the Dead Sea, but over 600 meters above sea level with spectacular views overlooking the Judean Hills and across to the Moav mountains in Jordan. Because of its altitude, a full kilometer higher than the Dead Sea, it enjoys a far more moderate climate, yet is within easy reach for daily therapy there.

Unlike the touristy Dead Sea resort, Arad is a quiet serene town of @23,500 inhabitants where one can mingle and meet with everyday folk and experience the real Israel. It has a shopping center and mall with a variety of supermarkets and stores, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, as well as a weekly outdoor market offering a range of wares and fresh produce.
