![]() ![]() -Soybean wax burns virtually (98.7%) soot free, which is better for you and your home. -Used jars and tart warmers can be easily cleaned with soap and hot water. -Environmentally friendly, does not contain toxins. -Soybeans are grown in the USA, supports American Farmers. Important Facts about Burning Jar Candles -All of our candles are shipped with the wicks "pre-trimmed". Simply light your candle and let the entire surface area melt before extinguishing. This creates a "memory" for your candle to burn all the way down the sides, leaving no unused wax. We recommend trimming the "mushroom" on the wick to lessen soot and increase burn time. When you are ready to extinguish your candle, simply place the lid on top. This will keep the smoke from escaping and your house smelling good! Burn Times We do not list burn times for our candles. Burn times depend upon several circumstances such as how long at a time it is burnt, keeping the "mushroom" trimmed on the wick, etc. Soy wax is more dense and longer burning than other candles. "Frosting" You may notice that soy candles and/or melts appear "frosted" in spots. This is common for soy wax, it will not affect the burning and/or scent. Wax Button Melts We recommend storing your unused melts in the freezer. This will keep the scent from escaping. Melts can be taken from the freezer and put directly onto the tart warmer. Fading color of button melts will not affect scent quality. Shelf Life of Mixes Our homemade mixes are all "made to order", so you receive the freshest ingredients.
