Shelbey Winnin is a much anticipated up and coming puppy out of two of our own superstars.  She is the first and only female puppy out of NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn and FC AFC Twist'n Tequila's Shadow - both of which have national awards and premium lineages.  We look forward to campaigning her in the future.

Shelbey Winnin is sired by NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn who made Brittany history in 2009 as being the only dog to hold both the National Open and National Amateur Gun-Dog Championship titles. He was awarded the 2010 American Brittany Club's National Magnum's Masked Man award for having the highest amount of gun dog field trial wins/points of any dog in the country. Pete made history again in 2012 by winning the American Brittany Club's National Tri Tronic's Top Shooting Dog Award and becoming the first dog in the history of the breed to win every National Brittany shooting dog/gun dog title/award. As a result, he is the most decorated Gun Dog in the history of the American Brittany breed.  He also holds the title of 2012 International Brittany Shooting Dog Champion and the 2012 International Brittany All-Age RU Champion. In 2011 he bested the field at the Southeastern Continental Breed Shooting Dog Championship - he is only the second Brittany to ever win this championship.  Pete is dually registered with American Field/Field Dog Stud Book and has won four American Field championship titles therefore further making him a 4x American Field Champion as well. Also, early in his career he also had several NSTRA wins to add to his belt. NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn is one of the most talented and decorated, well rounded bird-dogs the Brittany Breed has to offer with an outstanding lineage of highly talented and proven dogs. Pete's sire is NAFC/FC/AFC Walker's Gunner who was the 1997 National Amateur All Age Champion who also sired NGDC/FC Last Dixie Chick therefore making Pete's sire amoung an elite few dogs to have ever sired multiple national champions. NAFC/FC/AFC Walker's Gunner is a full littermate to 2002 National Amateur All-Age Champion NAFC/FC/AFC Pistol Pack'n Walker which further makes Pete's grandfather, FC Chikamin's Mr. Walker (a littermate brother of DC AFC The Whiz Kid) also amoung an elite few dogs to have ever sired multiple national champions. Pete's dam is AFC Bullet's Renegade Miss Megan - our foundation female who is a strong hunter and qualified for the 2007 and 2008 National Amateur Gun Dog Championships. Megan's sire is Brittany Hall of Fame inductee 32x NSTRA Champion Nolan's Last Bullet who has more NSTRA wins than any dog of any breed in the history of NSTRA. Shelbey's mother is FC AFC Twistin' Tequila's Shadow (Lila) who earned her AKC Field Champion (FC) Title and AKC Amateur Field Champion (AFC) title as well as a National award - 4th place win at the 2013 National Amateur Gun Dog Championship. Lila's sire is 2001 Brittany National All Age Champion and Brittany Hall of Famer NFC/FC/AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow who is the top winning hour All-Age Brittany in the history of the breed.  He has 44 1-hour All-Age placements throughout his career and is an 11x American Field Champion and 10x American Field Champion Runner up.  He was also named the 2002 Iams/Royal Canin Dog of the Year.  NFC/FC/AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow has also sired multiple AKC Field Champions and Amateur Field Champions who are competitive on a national level.  Lila's dam, DC AFC Tequila with a Twist is a 2x American Brittany Club National Dual award winner, and was Best of Breed at the 2008 American Brittany Club National Specialty show. She finished the 2008 field trial season as the #2 All Age Brittany in the country and as of that time she had a total of 17 hour placements. She is a 2x American Field Champion and 4x American Field Champion Runner-up and has also placed twice at the Brittany All-Age National Championships and is the top All Age hour winning female in breed history.  DC AFC Tequila with a Twist was sired by Brittany Hall of Famer NFC/DC/AFC Tequila's Joker who was the 1997 National All-Age Champion.  Hall of Famer NFC/DC/AFC Tequila's Joker was an 8x American Field Champion, 5x American Field Champion Runner-Up, had 26 All-Age hour wins, and of was a conformational show champion.
