About FC/AFC Emma Tayshon (Emma) NGDC-RU FC AFC Emma Tayshon (Emma) is one of our superstar females who was our pick of the litter out of the breeding of our female Drew's Favorite Ginger Snap (Ginger) and NFC/2xNAFC/FC/AFC Just Call Me Roy HOF (Roy). Emma is an exciting shooting dog to watch on the ground and is snappy, animated, and forward moving with a ton of drive and stamina. She began competiting in adult stakes in 2012 and qualified for both 2013 National Championships despite being limited to competitions of the extreme southern states. At the 2013 National Gun Dog Championship FC AFC Emma Tayshon brought home the Judge's Award Of Merit and proudly took home 3rd place at the 2014 National Gun Dog Championship and was awarded National Gun Dog Champion Runner Up and received the National Skye Trophy for being the top female at the National Gun Dog Championship in 2017. She has extremely excited us multiple hour stake wins and championship placements against some of the nation's top dogs. FC AFC Emma Tayshon is sired by Brittany All Age legend 2005 National All Age Champion, 2004 and 2006 National Amateur All Age Champion and Hall of Fame inductee NFC 2xNAFC FC AFC Just Call Me Roy HOF who has more National All Age wins and placements than any dog in the history of the breed with a total of seven - 3 total wins (2004 NAFC, 2005 NFC, 2005 NAFC), 1 Runner-Up (2003 NFC), 1 third placement (2006 NFC), and 2 fourth placements (2004 NFC, 2007 NAFC). Roy has produced multiple champions that have earned AKC Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion titles as well as National All Age and National Gun Dog Championship placing offspring. NFC 2xNAFC FC AFC Just Call Me Roy HOF was sired by 2000 National Amateur All Age CHampion NAFC FC AFC Piney Run Sam who's lines are anchored by 1983 National All Age Champion and Hall of Famer NFC FC Bean's Blaze HOF and Hall of Famer DC AFC Scipio's Little Chick HOF - two dogs which are among the breed's top ten producers of field champions, amateur field champions, and National winners and placement holders. NFC 2xNAFC FC AFC Just Call Me Roy HOF was whelped by FC Mark's Pride of Savannah who was also a great athlete and earned her AKC Field Champion title and was sired by 1992 National All Age Champion and Hall of Fame inductee NFC FC AFC Aux-Arc's Mark HOF, who's legendary parents are 1982 National Amateur All Age Champion and Hall of Fame inductee NAFC FC AFC Gunrunner's Far Out HOF and 1985 National Amateur All Age Champion and Hall of Fame inductee NAFC FC AFC Scott's Gingerbread Lady HOF who's pedigrees further extend to 1979 National Amateur All Age Champion and Hall of Fame inductee NAFC FC AFC Gringo De Britt HOF and Hall of Fame inductee FC Reed's Bo-Nine Max HOF FC AFC Emma Tayshon's mother is our own Drew's Favorite Ginger Snap. Ginger's sire is our own FC AFC Brook's Little Pete (Opie) who finished the 2008 field trial season as the #5 gun dog in the nation who earned his AKC field champion and amateur field champion titles with minimal campaigning. FC AFC Brook's Little Pete is sired by Brittany Field Trial Hall of Fame Inductee NSTRA legend 32x NSTRA Champion Nolan's Last Bullet. Nolan's Last Bullet is the all-time winningest dog in the history of the National Shoot To Retrieve Association (NSTRA). He holds virtually every meaningful record in this arena of field trial competition: most times a champion (32), most lifetime championship points (508), most points in a single season (102), most placements in NSTRA title trials (14). His six first-lace finishes in NSTRA's flagship events - The Trial of Champions, the Grand National Invitational, etc. - is a record only one other dog has equaled. Ginger's mother is our Nancy Drew, who is a littermate sister of our NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn who made Brittany history in 2009 as being the only dog to hold both the National Open and National Amateur Gun Dog Championship titles. He was awarded the 2010 American Brittany Club's National Magnum's Masked Man award for having the highest amount of gun dog field trial wins/points of any dog in the country. Pete made history again in 2012 by winning the American Brittany Club's National Tri Tronic's Top Shooting Dog Award and becoming the first dog in the history of the breed to win every National Brittany shooting dog/gun dog title/award. Ginger's grandsire is NAFC/FC/AFC Walker's Gunner who was the 1997 National Amateur All Age Champion who also sired NGDC/FC Last Dixie Chick and NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn therefore making Ginger's grandsire among an elite few dogs to have ever sired multiple national champions. NAFC/FC/AFC Walker's Gunner is a full littermate to 2002 National Amateur All-Age Champion NAFC/FC/AFC Pistol Pack'n Walker which further makes Ginger's great grandfather, FC Chikamin's Mr. Walker (a littermate brother of DC AFC The Whiz Kid) also amoung an elite few dogs to have ever sired multiple national champions and therefore proven themselves as the country's top champion hunters and producers of the future generations of the country's top hunters.
