NAFC FC AFC Walker's Gunner "Kidd" is the 1997 AKC National Amateur All Age Champion in addition to being a titled field champion (FC) and titled amateur field champion (AFC).  Despite being bred a very limited number of times, he is among a very elite few dogs (only 4-5 dogs in the history of the breed) who have earned a National Champion title in addition to having sired multiple National Champion titled offspring.  NAFC FC AFC Walker's Gunner is the sire of 2009 National Gun Dog Champion, 2009 National Amateur Gun Dog Champion NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn as well as 2005 National Gun Dog Champion NGDC/FC Last Dixie Chick.  Additionally  NAFC FC AFC Walker's Gunn is a full littermate brother to 2002 National Amateur All Age CHampion NAFC FC AFC Pistol Packin' Walker therefore welcoming their sire, FC Chikamin's Mr. Walker to the elite group of dogs who have sired multiple National Champions. 

NAFC FC AFC Walker's Gunner is from perhaps the most consistant line of performance Brittanys and producers in history which includes the following Brittany Hall of Fame or Field Trial Hall of Fame inducted dogs:  NFC FC AFC Bean's Blaze amd DC Scipio's Little Chick as well as NFC DC AFC Ban-Dee,  NFC FC AFC Hi Proof Rum Runner, NAFC FC AFC Brandy's Bullet, FC AFC Scipio Spinks, FC Kay-Cee Bandit, NAFC DC AFC Tigar's Jocko to name a few.

We chose NAFC FC AFC Walker's Gunner to sire our first Brittany litter when we were just getting started because of the consistant quality in his pedigree.  We obviously were not disappointed with the results -  NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn arguably the top Brittany Shooting dog in the country today having been the only dog in the history of the breed to have ever been awarded every National Gun Dog title and award - including both National Championship titles, the Magnum's Masked Man Award, and the Tri Tronics Shooting Dog of the Year Award..  Due to our early success with his breeding we had desired to do a line breeding with NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn and a quality half sister - none of breeding age were in existance other than his full sister Nancy Drew.  Consequently we negotiated with Jerry Kendrick to purchase the remaining frozen semen on NAFC FC AFC Walker's Gunner for use in our breeding program.
