Bo's sire is NAFC/FC/AFC Walker's Gunner, the 1997 National Amateur All-Age Champion and sire of dogs such as NGDC/FC Last Dixie Chick.  Bo's dam is our foundation female AFC Bullet's Renegade Miss Megan who is a strong hunter and field trial contender who qualified for the 2007 and 2008 National Amateur Gun Dog Championships.  Megan's sire is 32x NSTRA Champion Nolan's Last Bullet who has more NSTRA wins than any dog of any breed in NSTRA history. Bo is a littermate to our own NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn (Pete) and Nancy Drew (Lucy). 

Bo is an extremely stylish gun dog who hunts at moderate range and is a classy and natural retriever.  He is conformationally correct with a nice topline and overall disposition, beautiful deep reddish-burnt orange coloring, and a very attractive facial composition. We have recently completed his field training and he is now steady to wing and shot.  Bo has multiple Derby placements and he placed in every Derby stake he was entered in.  He entered the 2008 season as a finished dog and is showing promise in adult stakes as a young three year old.   Bo was qualified for the 2008 National Amateur Gun Dog Championship with his excellent run in the Amateur Gun Dog Stake at the Bama Brittany Club in February.   Bo had a nice run at the National Amateur Gun Dog Championship where he carded 5 finds and a stop to flush to complete his hour.  We were very happy with his bird work in the chamnpionship.  We will be entering Bo in conformational shows in the spring and summer of 2009 in hopes of obtaining a show championship title.
